Which is the best way to contact you?

It is always best to phone initially to make an appointment. You will get a quicker response. Once we know each other, for subsequent appointments texting will be fine.

Will my appointment and details remain confidential?

Yes. Please be assured that anything discussed is strictly confidential between yourself and your therapist, who will be discrete at all times.

When should I arrive for my appointment?

Please arrive at the agreed time or no more than a couple of minutes before.

What should I expect on my first visit?

You will be greeted by a friendly, professional male therapist who will put you at ease immediately and offer you a drink while we go through the initial consultation.

Which clothes should I remove for my treatment?

Your therapist will tell you what clothing to take off, leave on, where to put it and how to position yourself. Your belongings will remain with you in the treatment room. He will then give you some privacy to get sorted. For Reiki, Reflexology or Hopi Ear Candling, removing your shoes is sufficient, or a facial, just your shirt.
For massage or body treatments, the choice is yours. Just undress to your comfort zone – everyone is different. We respect your privacy and dignity at all times and you will soon feel relaxed with an understanding male therapist. Fresh towels are available for your privacy and comfort. For the body scrub / wrap treatments, disposable G- strings designed for men are available free of charge if required.

Can I have a shower at Me-time for men?

Yes, however, the oils used on your skin are nourishing and hydrating, so it is not recommended to wash them off. Non-scented oils are available too if preferred. You will require a shower here after the body wrap/ scrub treatments though.

What is the treatment room like?

A clean, relaxing space within a private home. It’s fully equipped for massage and male grooming. The massage couch is comfortable and can accommodate men of all sizes.Remember that this is your time. If it’s too warm, too cold, you’d like a drink or want a change of music , please speak up. Most people prefer to remain quiet during their treatment to enjoy maximum benefit and allow the therapist to focus fully on you, but if conversation helps you chill out, feel free.

Can I book a treatment for  my partner/ girlfriend / wife / husband too?

Yes, this is a great  idea for a special occasion or treat. We know an excellent self-employed, fully qualified female therapist who has also been trained to a high standard and will provide the treatment. Otherwise, your male therapist can be available.

What are your opening times?

We try and be as flexible as possible so the hours may vary but normally we are open from 9.00am to 10pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 8pm Friday to Sunday. Later appointments can be made by prior arrangement, but please never phone after 10pm. As there is no reception, please don’t visit us without an appointment. It is advisable to book well in advance, although appointments are sometimes available at short notice.

I’m not sure if I need a Sports Massage or Deep Tissue Massage.

A large part of Sports Massage is deep tissue work so there are a lot of similarities between these two treatments. The main difference is that Sports Massage is more clinical and therefore less relaxing. It may include a range of techniques to get the best end result. Although Deep tissue massage is sometimes intense, it is a more relaxing treatment. Don’t worry though, we can discuss it when you’re here and gear your massage to your particular needs.
